A MESSAGE FROM FINANCE FACTORS' CHAIRMAN AND CEO

We’re reaching out to provide you with an overview of what Finance Factors is doing to address the current COVID-19 pandemic and to let you know what you can do to keep yourself and others safe, and how you can use alternative means to transact with us.

We want to assure you that we are taking proper precautions with regards to the health, safety and well-being of our customers, employees and the greater community.

Here’s What We’re Doing

  1. Finance Factors is actively monitoring the current situation and we are committed to taking appropriate action to navigate this challenging time.
  2. Our emergency teams are making decisions based on the most recent information provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and local public health agencies and government officials, while keeping the health and safety of our customers and employees in mind.
  3. We have contingency plans for preparedness, and we are heightening precautions for cleanliness, safety, and overall best practices. We’re being proactive to ensure continuous service to you, while we properly address the impact of the pandemic.
  4. We’ve cancelled all business-related travel, and we’ve discouraged our employees from personally travelling to CDC travel alert countries.
  5. We’ve advised our employees to observe CDC guidelines, get a flu shot, stay at home if they are sick, practice social distancing, and wash their hands often with soap and water.
  6. Our branches and offices are regularly cleaned, and more time is being spent to make sure our facilities are cleaned and disinfected throughout the day.
  7. We are asking everyone to keep a safe distance while inside our branches and offices. We've also designated a drop-off counter inside each branch for any exchange of documents.
  8. We’ve temporarily removed magazines and coffee stations to restrict the spread of germs.
  9. If you are a loan customer and facing financial difficulties related to this pandemic, we’re here to help adjust your loan payments. Call us on Oahu at 522-2000 or toll-free at 1-800-648-7136.

Here’s What You Can Do

  1. We’re asking all customers who are experiencing flu or cold-like symptoms to please reschedule all non-essential visits to Finance Factors. Reschedule your visit for when you are feeling better for the safety of our employees and other customers.
  2. We please ask you to limit the number of visitors who accompany you to our branches and offices, especially if someone in your family is feeling ill.
  3. Check our website financefactors.com for the most up-to-date information regarding our company’s operations.
  4. Be wary of emails concerning the coronavirus outbreak as criminals are taking advantage of the media’s coverage. Remember, we would never ask you for personal information via phone or email.

Protect Yourself

  1. Avoid close contact with individuals showing signs of illness.
  2. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth without first washing your hands.
  3. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are unavailable, use an alcohol-based (at least 60%) hand sanitizer.
  4. Additional tips as you live your daily life:
    • Avoid handshakes and social greetings like hugs and kisses.
    • Use your knuckle to touch light switches, elevator buttons and other commonly touched items.
    • Open doors with your closed fist or hip, when possible.
    • Use disinfectant wipes at stores and public areas when available to wipe down carts, baskets, child seats, etc.
    • Consider having a box of latex or nitrile latex disposal gloves for when you go shopping, use the gasoline pump, or when exposed to outside activity that may have contaminated areas or less frequently cleaned areas.

Additionally, to refrain from spreading illness to others, if you are or feeling sick you should:

  • Stay home.
  • Wear a mask.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Avoid your elbow and clothing.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

We’re in the midst of one of the most trying times in recent history. The COVID-19 pandemic reminds us that we are all part of a global community with a duty to look out for one another. At Finance Factors, we’re doing our best to keep you informed and safe, and to continue to provide you with on-going service. Let us all stay positive and work together to emerge even stronger than ever.
