Finance Factors Promotes Linster and Miyasato

Finance Factors, Hawaii's largest locally-owned depository financial services loan company, announced today that two employees, Katherine Linster and David Miyasato, have been promoted. Katherine Linster has been promoted to assistant vice president, lending compliance officer. David Miyasato has been promoted to assistant vice president and branch administrator.

In her new role, Linster will be more involved in other areas of lending compliance such as fair lending analysis and more engagement with business units to enhance lending compliance. Prior to joining Finance Factors in 2015, Linster worked at the State of Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs in the Insurance Division. Previous to that, she clerked for the Honorable Derrick H.M. Chan, Chief Judge of the First Circuit and presiding Judge of the Probate Court. She received a bachelor's degree in political science from Hawaii Pacific University and a law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law. Linster was admitted to the Hawaii State Bar in November 2018.

Miyasato joined Finance Factors in 2008 as an accountant and has steadily been promoted throughout his 10 year career. His previously held positions include financial analyst and senior financial analyst. In his new role, Miyasato is responsible for deposit gathering and ensuring the very best service and efficiency at 13 branch locations. He is currently in his second year of Graduate Banking School at Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. He received his bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Washington. Miyasato is currently a member of the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce.
