Finance Factors in Compliance with Federal S.A.F.E. Act

You can rest easy when you get your mortgage financing at Finance Factors. All Finance Factors Residential Lending Officers are registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS Registry) in accordance with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (S.A.F.E. Act). The S.A.F.E. Act requires that all mortgage loan originators register by July 29, 2011.

If you go to the Consumer Access section of the NMLS Registry site after July 29, 2011, you can confirm that your Finance Factors Lending Officer is properly licensed by checking his or her Loan Originator Identification Number on the site.

The S.A.F.E. Act was enacted to protect consumers from unscrupulous lenders by requiring individual mortgage loan originators to be registered with NMLS Registry. The NMLS Registry is a database established previously by the Conference of State Bank Supervisors and the American Association of Residential Mortgage Regulators to support the licensing of mortgage loan originators by the states.
