Finance Factors’ New Liliha Branch Opens

Manoa and Chinatown Branches Receive Regulatory Approval to Move Forward

Finance Factors announced today the opening of its Liliha Branch.  To celebrate, customers are invited to come in and take advantage of special savings and certificate of deposit offers for individuals and businesses, as well as prize drawings for ten $100 savings accounts.

“We are excited to be expanding our branch network and we look forward to serving the residents of Liliha and the neighboring communities with our great service and deposit and loan products,” said Steven Teruya, president of Finance Factors. “This Liliha Branch has been designed to enhance the inviting feeling of the surrounding community, and we are proud to now officially be a part of this special neighborhood.”

Emerlie “Merl” Eusebio will lead the Liliha Branch team as operation supervisor.  Eusebio previously was at Finance Factors’ Kalihi Branch for 18 years.

The new Liliha Branch is located at 1808 Liliha Street, on the corner of Liliha and North Kuakini Streets, former home of Masu’s Massive Plate Lunch.  Perched high above the exterior of the branch is an old-style town clock with a high-tech global positioning system (GPS) mechanism that we hope will serve as a landmark for uptown Liliha.  Inside the branch, customers can relax in a cozy lounge area and enjoy a plasma TV and personal-computer access.

The branch will also be green friendly, as photovoltaic (PV) systems will be installed by Sun Tech Hawaii.  PV technology converts solar energy into electricity with little impact on the environment.  The PV system will supply the Liliha Branch with 90 to 100 percent of its electrical needs.

Finance Factors’ planned branches in Manoa and Chinatown recently received regulatory approval to move forward, and are expected to open in early 2009.
