Finance Factors 13th Annual Benefit Breakfast Scheduled


Finance Factors announced today that tickets to its annual Benefit Breakfast are on sale.  The $5 local-style breakfast includes Kukui Brand Portuguese sausage, scrambled eggs and rice.  This year’s breakfast will be on Friday, July 11, in front of the Finance Factors Center, 1164 Bishop Street, from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.  A total of 1,000 breakfasts will be sold with all proceeds going to benefit the River of Life Mission.  For ticket information, please contact Delia Fujihara at 548-5145.

Dozens of Finance Factors employees will be preparing and serving the meals, with Vice Chairman & CEO Russell Lau also on hand to help with the festivities. Other employee volunteers will deliver breakfast orders of 10 or more in the immediate downtown Honolulu area.

“Each year, our entire Finance Factors team looks forward to the Benefit Breakfast,” said Steven Teruya, President and COO of Finance Factors.  “We are continually committed to doing our part in making Hawaii a better place, and hope to provide some assistance to the River of Life Mission in their efforts to serve our local communities.”
Guest Chef Michael Arita of the Pacific Beach Hotel will also be on hand creating VIP breakfasts to be served in a special reserved seating area. Hosted by Teruya, VIP guests will enjoy gourmet made-to-order omelets, fresh island fruit, Kukui Brand Portuguese Sausage, rice, juice and coffee.

The River of Life Mission is a local organization that is committed to helping the destitute and needy in our communities.  The Christian-based organization strives to assist those in need of temporary emergency assistance with their rescue services, which include meals, shelter, clothing, and social services.  For individuals that are poverty stricken, they also have designed rehabilitation and reintegration programs, which include job training, counseling, employment, and life-skills training.
